approached and we realized we were sorely out of practice, we turned to them for
salvation. In just a handful of private lessons, Margie managed to
reacquaint us with the basics, tossed in several dips and tricks for some style
points, and taught us enough fast moves to help us through the inevitable faster
tempo tunes so that our First Dance wouldn't be our Last one.
Jim and Margie have an uncanny ability to isolate problems and clearly explain
even the most complicated dance moves to even the most uncoordinated of
us. Equally important, they make every minute, every beat, great
fun. By our wedding day, they had given us perhaps the best wedding gift
of all: the skill and confidence to swing it to our song, a carefree and joyous

"We
were in the midst of planning our wedding, without a doubt some of the highest
stress I’ve ever felt. We signed up for a block of lessons in hopes of feeling
more comfortable together on the dance floor.
From
the first moment Jim was an incredibly professional instructor. I’ve worked
with quite a few instructors in the past, some put you at ease and allow you to
learn, other’s methods, style or rigidity make relaxation and learning
difficult. Jim’s demeanor and style was wonderful. We both felt at ease and
amazingly one of my two left feet disappeared and I started dancing! Miracles do
happen.
